The components of a wrapped V-belt include:
- Cover fabric: Polyester material. Protects the inside of the wrapped V-belt from wear caused by the pulley groove.
- Tension member: Polyester material. It is the core component that transmits power through the belt.
- Top compression rubber: NR/EPDM/CR material. Maintains the shape of the wrapped V-belt upper.
- Adhesive rubber: NR/EPDM/CR material. Firmly bonds the tension member to the compression rubber to ensure the stability of the overall structure.
- Bottom compression rubber: NR/EPDM/CR material. Maintains the shape of the wrapped V-belt lower.
The commonly used operating temperature range for wrapped V-belt is -30°C to +80°C. Some special models or wrapped V belts made of special materials can reach temperatures above 100°C.
